Yokosuka Shobu-en Iris Garden

This botanical garden is located in Abekura, Yokosuka City. It is famous for having roughly 400 species of 140,000 iris roots, and during the peak season in June, the “Hanashobu Festival” is held. In the garden, a variety of flowers bloom each season, and events such as flower-pressing and flower-arranging classes are held. Around May, you can observe the wisteria trellis and the tunnel of wisteria.

６月はしょうぶの見ごろで３２０円の有料です。しょうぶなどの花が無い時には無料の公園です。きれいなしょうぶがいろいろあってきれいです。臨時バスも時期では出ていて便利です。

柵の手前の土手に足を置いて撮影してしまい、従業員に遠くからでっかい声で「お客様！」と言われたので、いけない事をしたんだと反省し「すいません！」と、大きな声で言ったのに「自分だけよければいいんだから」とシーズン真っ盛りの大勢の観光客に見せしめのように言われ、恥ずかしくてそそくさと園から出てしまいました。広くてお客様たちも癒されてて、せっかくいい雰囲気の菖蒲園なのに、従業員同士の声もでかくこれでは台無...
