Nirasaki Asahi Onsen
This hot spring bathhouse makes use of a source spring welling up from a layer of quartz diorite bedrock 1,200 meters underground. Notable for its abundance of free-flowing water that is never reheated, re-circulated, or diluted, the waters of this spring can not only be bathed in but also drunk for health purposes and even brought home. These waters are known for their warmth retention and beautifying properties which soften the surface of the skin.
