This shrine was on the south side of Shunan Ryokuchi Park. It enshrines not only Homutawake-no-Mikoto, the Oujin Emperor, but also the Empress Jingu, and Munakata Sanjoshin. The temple grounds are embraced in greenery, and include eight buildings that are Registered Tangible Cultural Properties, including the main hall and heiden offertory hall. It attracts many visitors with its reputation for offering luck in warding off evil, success in business, and safe birth.

歴史ある神社

平安時代から多くの参拝者が訪れる由緒ある神社のようで、1300年以上も存在し続けています。石段参道を登ってお参りして来ました。上まで行くと、目の前を走る新幹線が見られたり、工場地帯も見れました。途中には、稲荷神社や戎神社もありました。
初詣は人がいっぱい

初詣に行ったら人でいっぱいだった。参拝者の行列は下の鳥居まで伸びていて、所要30分ぐらいだった。境内は福みくじの大行列もあって、大混雑だった。正月はベビーカーや足の不自由な方々はつらそうな感じ。付近の臨時駐車場も人と車で大混雑だった。
工場夜景がきれい

境内から徳山の工業地帯が見えるので、夜に行くと工場の夜景がきれいです。工場萌えの人にオススメのスポットです。
