A hot spring bathhouse situated along National Route 361 in Shinkai, Kiso Town, Kiso County, Nagano Prefecture. The waters of the bathhouse' carbon dioxide sodium chloride hydrogen carbonate cold mineral spring are said to treat such ailments as cuts, burns, chronic skin diseases, weak constitutions in children, chronic women's diseases, high blood pressure, and hardening of the arteries. The bathhouse has two bathing areas, the Mikage and Hinoki, each with an outdoor bath; which is the men's and which is the women's alternates daily. There's also a rest lounge and restaurant.

お湯に浸かれば、ほっとします

国道１９号から曲がって、開田高原への道沿いにあります。内湯と露天風呂。ちょうど雨が降ってきていて、半分屋根に覆われた露天風呂。雨が落ちるのを見るのも結構楽しい感じでした。湯温がほどよく、長く浸かっていられます。鉄分の豊富なお湯のようでした。肌がつるつるになりますよ。

観光案内所で割引券をいただき行ってきました。バス停の目の前にあります。バスタオルのレンタルもありますが、フェイスタオルを購入しました。時間帯によると思いますが、空いていたゆえ、ゆったりできました。温泉スタンドが駐車場横にありました。

温泉は飲めないが、泉質に体に良い成分をふんだんに含み皮膚からの吸収で療養効果が得られる。濃厚なこげ茶色で、時間帯によっては駐車場がいっぱいになる。
