Mogamiyama Park (Momijiyama)

Place famous for fall foliage or new greenery
"Located approximately five minutes from the Chugoku Expressway's Yamazaki Interchange, you can see maple trees from around the world at this park. In addition to 3,000 Japanese maples, there are also 400 maple trees from other countries, like China and Canada. At the height of fall, the entire mountain is colored in a beautiful blaze of red, truly living up to its name ""Momijiyama,"" which refers to the lovely autumn foliage. Visitors are sure to enjoy taking a carefree stroll on the walking path, where maple trees stretch out from either side to form a tunnel full of fall colors. With Benten Pond nearby, it is a place for residents to relax. The Mt. Momiji Maple Tree Festival is held at the end of November, and trees are lit up at night during this time for viewing."
