Iwaki Flower Center
This botanical garden is located a 20-minute drive from JR East, Iwaki Station. Visitors can enjoy the diverse varieties of flowers planted on its massive roughly 260,000 square-meter grounds. Most notably, visitors can view rare tropical plants such as cacti and hibiscus at the garden's display greenhouse, one of the largest greenhouses in Iwaki City. The garden also has areas dedicated to camellia, plum, hydrangea, and rhododendron, the official flower of Fukushima Prefecture, respectively. Other facilities include the Children's Square as well as the Flower Life Hall, where the garden holds exhibits, seminars, and other seasonal events.
