Nihondo Kampo Museum
A store and museum complex located a four minute walk from JR and Keikyu Shinagawa Station. The facility is owned and operated by Nihondo, a long-standing Chinese medicine company established in 1969. The facility also provides information on what Chinese medicine is, including introducing healthy ways of living, seasonal activities, and foods; and exhibiting Japanese and Chinese medicinal plants with informational explanations. In the boutique area, you can undergo a free self-check and talk with dedicated specialties who can give you suggestions for improving your health. The facilities activities are quite diverse, and it also holds classes for people to get a license in Chinese medicine, and has a restaurant serving Chinese medicinal cooking.
