"This day-trip hot spring bath is on 42-meter-high Mt. Tofutsu close to the Kiritappu Yuyu bus stop. Using spring water that gushes up from 2,000 meters below ground, the water type is alkaline and cool, alkaline, hypotonic and a sodium-chloride cold mineral spring. It is said to be effective for nerve and muscle pain. As well as indoor, whirlpool, and outdoor baths, there is also a reservation-only ""fureai"" bath available. With views of Cape Kiritappu, Cape Azechi and the Kiritappu Wetlands, it employs a system where every week it changes between being men-only and women-only. It also sells Lupin the Third goods because it is the hometown of Monkey Punch, a manga artist of the series."

景色は残念

丁度良い時間にバスがなかったので浜中町の中心地から歩いて行きましたが、高台にあるためひたすら上り坂で道路がかなり迂回しているので疲れました。歩く場合は覚悟が必要です。入浴料は500円で小さいながらも露天風呂もあって温泉には満足です。湯上がり後は広い休憩室でまったりできます。残念ながら浴場からの眺めは霧多布岬の方角には向いていないので景色は楽しめません。帰りも来た迂回道路を歩くのが憂鬱だった...

浜中町の中心地、霧多布からさらに奥に進みました。もともとは島だったこの場所は、低地の霧多布市街から上ってくる形になります。登り切った高台に、こちらの温泉「ゆうゆ」があります。立派な駐車場が整備されていて、建物は外観も館内も新しくて、きれいでした。浴室も清潔で、休憩スペースなども充実していました。
岬観光の後に心身温めるにはよい場所

霧多布岬後に訪れました。霧多布岬の強風にうたれた後だったのでここの温泉に癒やさました。岬前ではなく岬観光の後に来ることをおすすめします。逆だと絶対に風邪をひきます
