"An eight kilometer, 10-minute drive from the Shiroishi interchange on the Tohoku Expressway. This day trip hot spring bathhouse is located on Tonton no Oka, a naturally lush hill surrounded by undeveloped woodland on the western side of Ogawara Town. The bathhouse constantly replenishes its tubs from a source spring ""kakenagashi"" style and without the use of any added waters. The waters of the bathhouse' natural spring are alkaline and soft; gentle on the skin, they are also said to have skin beautifying properties. The old fashioned Japanese home-style bathhouse building is filled with warm, welcoming wooden fixtures. Customers can enjoy one of two bathing areas - the stone Ishi no Yu and the wood Ki no Yu; which is the men's and which is the women's bathing area alternates on a weekly basis. The bathhouse' restaurant serves an abundant variety of dishes, including vaunted Mochibuta pork cuisine."

バーベキューからアスレチックまである温泉

バーベキュー、アスレチック、動物たちとのふれあいとエサやり、温泉があり、１日でも遊べそうなスポットです！！バーベキューはなんと！1300円で、モリモリ食べれてしかも最高に美味しいですね！バーベキューのあと温泉に入り、サイコーでした。広くはありませんがいい湯でした。
大河原駅からはちょっと遠い

旧・奥州街道をランニングで制覇した際に立ち寄りました。この日は大河原宿にて中断してここで汗を流して帰る予定だったので大河原町道路元標までたどり着いたあと、そのままランニングでここまで。地図で見た限りそう遠くないと思っていたのですが、地図上で見た距離より遥かに遠く、しかも丘の上にあるので大変でした。お風呂は露天風呂もありとても気持ち良かったです。

休日800円ですが、JAF割引20を%オフのため640円で、入浴できました。露天内湯共、加熱かけ流しで利用されています。ややつるつる感がしました。
