"22 kilometers from the Matsushima-kita interchange on the Sanriku Expressway heading towards Wakuya. This day trip hot spring bathhouse, standing against the backdrop of Mt. Nonodake commanding a view of the vast Sendai Plain and Mt. Kurikoma, constantly replenishes its tubs ""kakenagashi"" style from a source spring. The bathhouse has two bathing areas with different atmospheres - one Western style and one Japanese style - and which is the men's and which the women's alternates on a daily basis. The bathhouse makes use of two hot springs, the first a hypotonic alkaline cold mineral spring with superb skin beautifying properties, and the second a highly moisturizing sodium chloride sulfate spring/hypertonic neutral spring, and bathing in their waters in this order is the secret to maximizing their beneficial effects. The bathhouse' vaunted observatory rest lounge offers a sweeping view of the surrounding rural scenery."

涌谷町の北東高台にあります。建物内には、産直センターもあり、涌谷産の新鮮な野菜等を購入できます。お風呂は洋風と和風と二種類あり、男湯女湯日替わりみたいなので、続けて行くと２タイプ楽しめます。入浴料金は、大人600円です。

温泉施設は清潔でお風呂の種類も多く、ゆったりと寛げます。併設する宿泊施設は驚きの低料金ですが、清潔な部屋で安心して宿泊でき、WiFiも完備です。山間で空気がきれいなのか、部屋から見た朝日はとてもきれいでした。
