A tourist information center next to the east ticket gate of JR Takayama Station. Established as part of a project to renovate the station area, the center was designed to harmonize with the single story reinforced concrete station building. The center is filled with sightseeing pamphlets and visitors can check out information on tourism destinations, hot dining spots, and traffic conditions in the city. There are also pamphlets written in a variety of languages for international tourists. In addition, the center has information terminals for disabled tourists.

JR高山駅をでたところにある観光案内所。高山駅もきれいにリニューアルされていますが、駅にあわせて新しくなっています。飛騨高山のマップやパンフレットのほか、飛騨古川のマップもあり、いただきました。
アニメ「氷菓」の観光地図を頂きました

少し前に高山を舞台にしたアニメ「氷菓」の聖地巡礼用パンフを頂きました。パンフにはアニメの一場面も掲載されています。やっと念願の高山に来られたという感想です。

飛騨高山駅前やバスセンターの前といういい場所にある。古町などにも小さな観光案内所があるが、ここが一番充実している。秋祭り当日、この観光案内所にも多くの外国人がいた。建物の外にもテーブルが置かれ、こちらのほうが待たなくて済んだ。
