A day trip hot spring bathhouse located a 15-minute drive from JR Sakari Station. The hot spring uses only the waters of a natural alkaline simple hot spring; these waters are said to treat such ailments as nerve pain, muscle soreness, sensitivity to cold, and chronic digestive diseases. The bathhouse carries shampoo and body soap and also rents and sells towels. In the bathhouse' restaurant, you can enjoy its original healthy millet soft serve ice cream. Made with ground millet, the ice cream looks like it's chocolate flavor but has a slightly sweet, slightly bitter flavor perfect for enjoying after a hot bath.

盛駅から気仙川上流目指して車ではしっている途中で寄ってみました。右折してからはかなり走りましたし温泉近くには大きなダムがあってこれにもビックリ。お湯は湯量も多く楽しめます。少し時間に余裕をもっていってください。冬場は道が凍結するので注意！！先日はここから五葉山に登山しました。
