Yoro Valley

This gorge runs along the Yoro River, which stretches from Ichihara City to Otaki Town, Isumi County. Visitors can experience the seasonal nature of the gorge in a number of ways including fishing, camping, and playing in the river. Hikers can also use the promenade built around Awamata Falls to visit the waterfalls and other places of scenic beauty that dot the gorge. The area is also home to the best hot springs village on the Boso Peninsula. There, visitors can enjoy outdoor baths with views of the Yoro River, and the Yoro Gorge Autumn Foliage Festival in the fall.
