Kakegawa Ninomaru Museum is just a one-minute walk from the Kitamon bus stop and a 10-minute drive from the Kakegawa Interchange. It is an art museum located in Kakegawa Castle Park, and its prime exhibits are the Kinoshita Collection of craft items, especially those related to smoking, and the Suzuki Collection of late 19th century and early 20th century paintings in the Japanese style. Many works of local artists are displayed and stored here. Every effort has been made to allow visitors to enjoy the exhibits to the greatest extent possible. The Japanese-style paintings are displayed with consideration given to the proper order, and the craft items can be viewed with magnifying glasses or double mirrors, allowing visitors can see the details. The museum also holds a variety of special exhibitions.

訪問時地下1階の第1展示室では《職人がこだわり抜いた細密工芸の世界（4月6日-6月6日）添付写真参照》が開催され、1階の第2展示室では《たばこ道具》を展示されこれらが200円で鑑賞出来たので美術鑑賞の言葉として不適切かも知れませんがお得感を感じました（内部は写真撮影禁止となっており写真で紹介出来ず）。パンフレット表紙に大きく掲載されている《日本三景図蒔絵料紙手箱》は第1展示室の...
掛川の歴史と美

掛川の歴史にまつわる美術品や東海道五拾三次の浮世絵などとても興味深かったです。こじんまりしているのでじっくり見学しても小一時間程度でしょうか。係員の方が屏風絵などの説明をして下さったのでより理解が深まりました。記念に東海道五拾三次のポストカードを購入しました。

前回来た時は〝キセル・タバコ入れ〝等の展示、今回は前回の東京オリンピック当時の家電製品等の展示…とちょっと変わった展示が多く、毎回非常に興味深く見させてもらってます。これからも楽しい展示をお願いします。
