Reservations are required, and the restaurant is open for lunch only on Sundays and a few other days through the year. Founded over 100 years ago, this venerable restaurant has been featured in magazines and other media. Hamaguri clams are a famous product of Kuwana, and Hinode serves many kinds of dishes that feature this shellfish: hamaguri nabe (hot pot) and hamaguri kaiseki cuisine. The restaurant also sells hamaguri nabe gift sets. It also offers seasonal exclusives such as eel and whitefish dishes and sukinabe (hot pot with sliced fish).

桑名の蛤なら間違いなくココ❗️フルコースで頂けます。雑炊は早めにお代わりを頂きましょう。私は、桑名の海苔で巻いた磯辺揚げが好きです。
