Roadside Station Kunino Matsubara Osaki
A roadside station located a 30-minute drive from Kanoya City on National Route 220 traveling towards Shibushi. Rhinoceros beetle sumo is a popular event in Osaki Town, and two giant rhinoceros beetle statues stand in front of the station. Situated on the grounds of Asupal OSAKI, visitors will find a hot spring bathhouse, hotel, restaurant, and shop available for their use. The Osaki Fureai no Sato Park is a renowned destination for cherry blossom viewing and bustles with visitors during the blooming period in spring.

- 国道２２０号沿いの道の駅。道路脇２匹の巨大なカブトムシのモニュメントがイミフで笑えます。案内所のスタッフは気さく。室内顔ハメ看板を写真に取っていたら「一緒に写真撮りましょうか？」など世話を焼いてくれます。「お先に失礼します。」と思わず突っ込みたくなります。

- 鹿児島県曽於郡大崎町、国道220号線沿いにある道の駅です。R220には道の駅が少ないので、休憩に重宝します。 なぜか駐車場入り口付近に、巨大な金属製カブトムシのモニュメントがあります。

- ご飯を食べるところは15時で閉店します。宿泊もできますが、立ち寄り湯で十分だと思います。入浴料は310円と格安ですが、アメニティは一切ありません。自分でタオルやシャンプー、ボディソープなど用意して行くと良いでしょう。サウナ、露天風呂があります。ここで良かったのは、洗い場のシャワーが普通の蛇口と同じになっていて、いちいちレバーを押さなくても、使っている間ずっとお湯が出続けるということです。温泉ですが...
