A kushiage and kushikatsu deep fried meat and vegetable skewer restaurant located on the fifth floor of the Shin-Marunouchi Building. The restaurant's main branch is located in the neighborhood of Nezu and this long-standing skewer shop has been in business for over 40 years. The Shin-Marunouchi Building location offers a sweeping view of Tokyo Station from its windows. The restaurant's kushiage menu is generally chef's choice only. Making use of carefully selected seasonal vegetables, seafoods, and meats, the chef will fry up 12 recommended skewers from among a selection of 30 total. You can also order additional skewers and stop when you like. For lunch, the restaurant serves a reasonably priced course meal which includes eight varieties of skewers, rice, miso soup, a side dish, and dessert.

新丸ビル5階にある、はん亭。大きな窓からは東京駅が綺麗に見えます。5本の串揚げと前菜がセットになった、平日ランチ(期間限定)を注文。ランチ単価が高い丸の内では、お得に感じられました。でも、男性にはちょっと量的に物足りないかもしれません。

串カツと違い串揚げはタレ&薬味を楽しむと伺いました。こちらのお店では、薬味に工夫やこだわりは感じられず、揚げ物に一手間、二手間アレンジされているものあり。コースの後半につれその度合いが増し、重たくなりました。特にフォアグラや白身魚をのせた最後の2串は要らなかった。。。景色が良いのがオススメですが、純粋に串揚げ楽しむには、他の店に行きます。
