Meijijingu Gaien, Ginko Trees

Street
Famous ginko trees which stretch from Aoyama-dori Street all the way to Meiji-jingu Gaien. This is a popular filming location for movies and TV dramas and Japan's No. 1 spot for viewing autumn leaves. 146 ginko trees form a beautiful yellow tunnel in the fall. There are more ginko trees at Aoyama, which is a great location for a fashionable metropolitan atmosphere. View the autumn leaves between November and December when the Meiji-jingu Gaien Icho Matsuri Ginko Festival is held every year and food stands line the streets.
