Taimeiken
A yoshoku Japanese-style Western cuisine restaurant located in Ecute Ueno in JR Ueno Station. The restaurant's main location first opened in Nihombashi in 1931, and diners can enjoy the delicious flavors of a veteran restaurant at reasonable prices. Popular menu selections include the signature omelet rice, Hayashi rice, and deep fried battered shrimp rice. The restaurant opens at 7:00 a.m. and both the breakfast menu, served from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and the lunch menu are popular. The restaurant is produced by Hiroshi Modegi, a chef who has famously appeared on television.
