This veteran Western confectionary was founded in 1933. It's hallmark item is the Mont Blanc cake the shop's named after. Yellow candied chestnut cream is topped with whipped cream resembling the snow-capped peak of Mt. Blanc. It's said to be the first shop to make Mont Blanc cake in Japan. They offer a variety of sweets made with chestnuts, like Mont Blanc for grown-ups that brings out the bitterness of the chestnuts and chestnut roll cakes. There's also a large cafe area, so guests can choose to eat in or take away.

自由が丘駅前の再開発で新店舗に移転されたのでティールームがなくなってしまったのは残念ですが、オープンキッチンでモンブランを作っているところが見られます。

モンブラン発祥のお店とゆうことで、個人的にモンブランが、苦手な私ですが気になってティームームで食べてみました。とても、美味しかったのですがやはり個人的にモンブランは苦手なんだなと思いました(笑)でもいままで食べたモンブランの中では一番好きなお味でした。◕‿◕。ティールームも落ち着いていて友人とゆっくり、話もできましたが、コロナ禍なので一時間の、ご利用となことでした。
