Postal Museum Japan
A museum dedicated to the postal service located on the ninth floor of the Solamachi mall in Tokyo Skytree Town. Based on the concept of connecting hearts and connecting the world, the museum displays some 330 thousand stamps, the largest collection in Japan, as well as 400 other postal service-related items and materials. The museum contains games, a theater, and numerous other interactive and hands-on exhibits. Its permanent exhibit is divided into seven parts and introduces the history of the postal service. There's also a special exhibition zone, letter lounge, and event space. Be sure to mark your visiting by dropping a letter off in the museum's Skytree-shaped postbox; your letter will be stamped with a date stamp containing a depiction of Tokyo Skytree.
