Konica Minolta Science Dome (Hachioji City Children's Museum of Science)
A science museum located in Oyoko-cho, Hachioji City, Tokyo. Remodeled and reopened in 2017, the museum has interactive science exhibits through which children can learn about science while having fun. Other interesting exhibits include a 1/10th scale model of the International Space Station and a replica of the Hachioji elephant fossil found in the city. The museum's planetarium, newly outfitted with a dome screen and other cutting-edge technologies, holds a special program for adults called the Twilight Planetarium on a Saturday every month.

- 星に興味を持つきっかけに
- こじんまりした科学館です。入館料が安く、幼児から小学生のお子さん向けです。プラネタリウムもあり、アニメとコラボした作品が観れるので、子供が星に興味を持つきっかけになると思います。

- ちょっとした科学館があって、体験コーナーなどもあります。当日はスライムの作成の教室があって参加しました。子供は大満足でした。プラネタリウムが特にすごくて、久しぶりに見ましたが、満点の星空に感激しました。星座が八王子の町並みと重ね合わされていたのがよかったです。

- コンパクトだけど楽しめる
- そんなに大きくないけども体験型のアトラクションがいっぱいで、さらにプラネタリウムもある。また工作教室も開かれていて満席だった。
