Museum of Maritime Science
A museum dedicated to ocean science located close to Yurikamome Fune-no-kagakukan Station in Higashiyashio, Shinagawa City, Tokyo. Focusing on oceangoing boats and maritime culture, the museum displays materials on ocean industries in Japan and also provides mini classes on canoeing and sailing using an outdoor pool. The museum also has outdoor displays of model submarines and actual ships such as the Soya, a first-generation Antarctic exploration vessel.
