This day-trip onsen facility located in the Katakuramachi district of Tokyo’s Hachioji City operates a free shuttle bus from four nearby train stations. The highly-concentrated carbonic acid hot spring that is popular for its comfortable and stimulating ambience features three categories of baths comprised of indoor baths, open air baths, and baths in which guests can lie down. There are saunas and 16 types of baths for guests to enjoy including a rock-enclosed bath with fantastic bluish-white light, a jacuzzi that helps massage the body for beauty and weight loss, and a bath for children who are still wearing diapers. In addition to its restaurant and complete offering of relaxation facilities, there is also a ganbanyoku (stone sauna) that is popular among women.

Easy to get there with free shuttle bus from hachioji and Kitano station. Very clean and comfortable.Between 11:30-17:00 was there with a friend. Had quality time and had delicious food.

GW中の朝6時25分頃入場。広い浴場に内のそれぞれの浴槽に、5-8人くらいづつ入っていて、体を洗ったらそのまま露天エリアに行きましたが、同様か少し少ないような状況でした。学生グループらしき若者グループが蛍の湯で騒いでいました。騒ぎながら寝湯が空くとグループで移動したり戻ったり、ゆっくり入浴を楽しむ環境ではありませんでした。特に大騒ぎではありませんが、まったりしたい人には、ここは向かないと思いまし...

北野駅から無料シャトルバスで来訪。行きは10分程度で到着するが、帰りはJR八王子駅経由のため、30分ほどかかる。冬という事もあるのか、平日なのに朝から大盛況。お風呂も人と距離を取っても入る場所はなくはない、という程度に混雑。お風呂は内湯外湯ともに広々として何種類もある。サウナはかなり温度が高めで、毎正時と30分(夜中早朝除く)にオートロウリュがあるが、熱気が尋常じゃなく、途中退出する人も多い...
