At this freshwater fish aquarium visitors can see about 100 types of freshwater fish, including fish from the Gokase River basin and tropical freshwater fish from Africa. The lights in the building are dim, making the fish in the tanks easy to view. There is also an enclosed fishing area at the facility where you can catch rainbow trout. Many tourists drop in while visiting “Takachiho Gorge”.

小さい施設ですが、高千穂周辺に生息するいろいろな生き物をみることができ、入場料も安いのでドライブ途中に見るのは良いと感じる施設でした。

小さな水族館で、ボート乗り場の駐車場の目の前にあります。入場料も安いので、ボートに乗る待ち時間がもしあるなら入ってみても良いと思います。

高千穂峡の最も人が集まるエリアにあります。他の方も書かれている通り、ボートの待ち時間利用の方が多いかと思います。個人的には水族館は大好きで色々行っていますが、料金的に300円と安価なので仕方のない部分も有ると思いますが、全体的には「もっと頑張ろう！」という印象です。スペースが小さく、展示されている魚の種類はそこそこ多いものの、各魚の匹数が全体的に少ないのでインパクトが弱いように思います。小...
