物産館だけでなく、温泉入浴施設、キャンプ場、バーベキュー場などのほか、カヌーやカヤックなどの体験もできる大規模な複合施設です。物産館では地元産の新鮮野菜のほか、お土産用の菓子類も揃っていました。熊本名物の「いきなり団子」は館内で手作りしていますが、人気があるので昼過ぎには売り切れることが多いそうです。

新鮮な野菜がたくさん置いてあり、しかも安いです。なす、ピーマン、きゅうりなどたくさん購入しました。実際、野菜目当てのお客さんも多いようでした。また、すいかやなし、ぶどうの産地でもあるようで、いろいろな美味しそうなものがところせましと並べられていました。

食事処と小さなスーパーとゆーか八百屋があります。野菜は地物で結構安いです。肉屋パン屋も外にあるので買い物にも良いかも
