Kurokawa Onsen “Yamabiko Ryokan”
This hot spring inn is in Minamioguni Town, Aso County. They have a wide variety of baths including a large public bath and an open-air bath where you can soak while taking in the seasonal scenery. You can dangle into the water from above in their 150-centimeter deep standing bath, and their Kurinuki-yu bath made of hollowed-out marble. The sodium - chloride spring is said to help ease muscle pains and burns, as well as promote healthy skin. The open-air bath is open to non-staying visitors who just drop in.
