The inn has three lodging facilities: the detached Yumeshizuka, which has its own dedicated outdoor bath; the Katsuranohide, which has an adjoining reservable private bath area open 24 hours a day; and the Hanabesso cottage with outdoor baths and lofts attached to each guest room. There’s also a shared outdoor bath, and visitors can enjoy bathing in a private atmosphere. The inn serves traditional kaiseki course cuisine made with Bungo beef and seasonal seafood and mountain food.

穴場の露天風呂。たったの200円で、最高の景色で、プライベート感のある露天風呂が楽しめます。私は平日の午前中だったせいか誰もおらず、本当にプライベート温泉でした。泉質もいいです。

九酔渓の紅葉目当てに宿泊してきました。露天風呂からの眺めは素晴しかったです。薄にごりの掛け流し温泉にも癒されながらしばらくボーっと堪能しました。こちらはいくつかの宿泊施設があって、悩みましたが長屋造りの桂の秀に。古さは感じますが静かでレトロな雰囲気も良かったです。お食事に関して夕食のボリュームが凄い。後半になっての満腹状態でしゃぶしゃぶのお鍋が点火され殆ど手がつけれず。早めにお願いした方が良い...
