以前こちらで購入したお茶と乾燥シイタケは値段と量からするとお得感たっぷりでした。もちろん味も良かったので、今回豊前への日帰り旅行に際にトイレ休憩も兼ねて立ち寄りました。平日の午前10時半くらいでしたが、駐車場に止まっている車がかなり多く驚きました。安心な地元産の食品も多く野菜やみそ、ジャムなども購入しました。
屋台と食堂が並んでいる感じです。

道の駅にありがちな高い定食ではなく地元に根差した割と安めの食べ物が結構ありました。ここでランチするよりも買い食いするのをお勧めします。

この近辺で、高速道路が途切れていたため、北九州と大分方面の往来には、ここの道を通る車が多かった。高速道路が繋がったので、駐車場の車の数も少なくなった。食事の店やら特産品の店がある。
