陶器の里の道の駅

博多から英彦山神宮に向かう途中で利用しました。場所柄、小石原焼・髙取焼の陶器をメインにお土産やお米、柿等地元農産物がそれなりにありました。棚田のお米は興味をそそられましたが持ち帰るのに重く断念しました。

国道２１１号沿いの道の駅。周囲は小石原というか小涌園、ポツンと○軒家状態。道の駅というより直売所クラスと小規模。陶器の里館では小石原焼と高取焼の陶器ブランドが充実していますが、投機の対象とはなりえないでしょう。
ツバメちゃんが営巣していました

焼き物の展示販売が特色の道の駅ですが、トイレ付近にツバメが営巣しており寒さに震えていました。優しく見守ってあげましょう。
