Sarakurayama Cable Car
A cable car installed along the slope of Mt. Sarakura in Yahata (Yawata)-higashi Ward, Kitakyushu City. It covers the distance of 1.1 kilometers with elevation gain of 440 meters. The car's large glass windows and ceiling give riders a spectacular view of the seasonal scenery outside. It's open also in the evening in winter, so riders during this time can enjoy decorative seasonal lighting. The cable car is often used by locals and tourists alike.

- Breathtaking
- First a train, then a shuttle bus (free, weekends only), next the cable car, and finally the slope car. Getting there is quite an adventure and fun. Once on the summit the view is awesome.
