A long standing Japanese confectionary shop established in 1819 and located in Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The shop is famous for its use of 100% natural, domestic Japanese arrowroot in its wide selection of confections, such as kuzu kiri, kuzu mochi, and kuzu somen. The shop's products also make great gifts and souvenirs, and many customers come here just for this purpose.

    葛餅をいただきました。市販されているものとはちがう・・・変な雑味がない。美味しい。かなり高齢の女将さんが帳場に座っていて、葛餅の家庭での作り方のポイントを何度も説明してくれた。葛を大切に美味しく食べてほしいという気持ちが伝わってきた。その説明も実際に書き加えてもらえるとありがたいのだが・・・とりあえず、自宅で作ってみようと思います!

    秋月の街道ぞいにある、老舗の葛のお店。外観は改装されていますが、店内は老舗の雰囲気そのままです。築260年だそうです。葛もちをいただきました。しっとりしておいしい。伝統の味。お土産もたくさんあります。秋月にこられたら、おすすめします。
