My family dropped by Suzukake for dessert as the weather was quite warm. The place is not big and popular as we had to wait for around 30 minutes to get seated. My wife had the green tea parfait...

中洲川端駅を出てすぐ、川端商店街の近くにある和菓子のお店です。お店左側が店内飲食スペースとなっており、和菓子やパフェに加えて食事メニューもありました。今回は和菓子と抹茶のセットを頂きましたが、大変美味しかったです。店内はあまり広くないため、座席の確保は容易ではありませんが、次回は料理も食べてみたいと思います。

店舗で持ち帰る和菓子もおいしいですが、ここ博多の本店だけで食べられる甘味処でいただくのは格別なおいしさがあります。普段からいただく和菓子も上品でとてもおいしいですが、カステラのバター焼きみたいな暖かいものや、パフェの類に付くアイスとフルーツみたいな冷たいものを、出来立てでいただくのは一味違ったおいしいです。下手に街へ観光行くよりここでおいしく休憩していた方が価値のある時間を過ごせそうです。
