This long-standing western-style confectioner is an Imabari landmark. First opened in 1903 they've continued to offer the same flavor over four generations. One of their hallmarks is that summer classic, shaved ice. The making of the shaved ice is overseen by the shop's patissier owner and after being shaken and whipped it stands out for its smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture. They offer 30 different flavors including their Milkshake with the classic sweetness and Strawberry-Milk with the luxurious taste of strawberries. During the winter months they open as a coffee shop and mainly sell cakes.

ここのミルクセーキは最高です。子供の頃から変わらぬ味。しかし、ミルクセーキだけでなく、苺も、抹茶も、胡麻、コーヒー、マンゴー、ブルーベリーたくさんのスペシャルなたも迷ってしまう事になります。帰省したら必ず食べたくなります。地方発送もありますが、是非お店で食べてくださいな。

カキ氷を求めて尾道から今治まで自転車で行きました。お目当てはミルクセーキ！飲み物ではありませんカキ氷です(画像右)ミルクセーキを凍らせて削った感じ⁇とても美味しいです。画像左のイチゴのも美味しがったそうですよ〜
有名なかき氷やさん

基本は洋菓子屋さんのようですが、夏にはかき氷屋さんになるようで、ゴールデンウィークあけに訪れたら、店内には洋菓子はほぼなく、かき氷のメニューばかり張ってありました。お店の人に勧めらえれたミルクセーキを頼んだのですが、氷にシロップというよりは味の付いた氷を削っているように感じました。
