The Kinosaki Literary Museum, located in the center of Kinosaki Onsen, a hot spring resort known for its history, literature, and hot springs, introduces through books and letters how the novelist Naoya Shiga and other writers of the Shirakaba school, who visited the area more than 10 times, were involved with Kinosaki. The store and salon on the first floor sells books and original goods related to the writers.

温泉巡りの途中で立ち寄った。志賀直哉をはじめ城崎にゆかりの文化人、そして温泉に関する展示が充実している。ちょっと一休みするのにいい。
物語が行きかう、城崎ならではの施設です。

城崎文芸館の前には、無料の手湯と足湯があります。誰でも利用できます。城崎温泉には、志賀直哉、与謝野晶子、島崎藤村他の文豪が作品を残しています。城崎温泉のメインストリートから離れていますが、斬新な建物です。
