Chuhachi Ninomiya Flight Museum

Memorial Hall
"This museum is dedicated to the aviation pioneer Chuhachi Ninomiya. Fourteen years before the Wright brothers' successful manned, powered flight, he was the first in the world to come up with the principles of flight. The museum displays a replica of his ""crow-type model aircraft,"" his ""jewel beetle type flyer"" exhibited at the British Airways Expo, and a jewel beetle type flyer with an eight-meter wing span exhibited at the Tsukuba Science Expo. Their education corner lets you have fun while learning with quizzes, flight related games, and video of the Chuhachi Ninomiya Story."
