Shikotsu-Tōya National Park

Located in the southwestern part of Hokkaido, this national park contains two large caldera lakes—Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya, and you can also see the volcano Mt. Usuzan and other active volcanoes, and volcanic topography. There are many hot springs for you to enjoy such as Noboribetsu hot springs, Toyako hot springs and Shikotsuko. The area has two visitor centers displaying material on nature, ecosystems and organisms in Shikotsu-Toya National Park and also offers multilingual brochures.
