Centering around the Kitashinano and Surrounding Area Lamp—Masami Kanebako Lamp Collection, a nationally designated Important Cultural Property, the museum displays a variety of works and crafts connected with lamps, lights, and lighting. The museum also offers a candle-making workshop (advance reservation required).

小布施駅から周辺を散策して寄りました。様々な灯火具があり昔の生活を思いできそうだ浮かべる事ができ現在の明るい生活のありがたさを再認識できました◯
日本の灯りが好きなので、寄って見ました。

行灯やぼんぼりや、ランプ、ローソクの灯り等大好きです。歴史を感じる事が興味深かったです。昔は、暗い中での生活を実感できました。ローソクの灯りやランプの灯りが、違うのも興味深く楽しかったです。
地味だけど味わい深い博物館です

年配者にとっては懐かし照明が所狭しと並んでいて味わい深い博物館です。こじんまりしているので余り期待しすぎないこと。お土産のロウソクは是非買ってください。
