akasaka Sacas
This is an entertainment complex that includes the TBS Broadcasting Center along with places such as Akasaka Biz Tower with its restaurants and shops, the large live performance venue Akasaka BLITZ, and Akasaka ACT Theater where various shows are performed including musicals. The complex draws its name from the phrase “sakura wo sakasu (cherry trees will bloom)” as well as “saka(s) (hills)” for the many hills in Akasaka. Each year during the summer a gourmet food event is held, while in the winter a skate rink is available.
