Kitajima Tulip Park

Located in Kitajima Town in Itano District, Kitajima Tulip Park is classed as one of the “88 Scenic Spots of Tokushima.” The Park, which covers an area of 1,800 square meters, features around 50,000 beautiful tulip flowers of approximately 80 different varieties. Entrance to the Park is free, and special events are held on Sundays (Please note that the Park is only open from early to late April, when the tulips are in bloom). Kitajima Tulip Park is approximately 10 minutes’ drive from Shozui Station on the JR Kotoku Line.

遠くから見るとかわいい。4月のチューリップフェアの時はここから畑を見るとよし。公園の散歩コースの休憩場所かな。
チューリップの時期だけの賑わい？

チューリップ…がいつも咲いているわけではありませんが、オランダ風の風車を建てて「チューリップ」という愛称には無理があります。[北島中央公園]では無粋なので、愛称なのでしょうが、ナントカ広場ばかりやたらに多い小さな公園で、見どころはなし。がっかりします。

公園、というより田んぼにチューリップが色別、種類別にたくさん植えられています。4月中旬が見ごろでしょうか。子供連れでにぎわっています。駐車場は広いので困ることはありません。畑の中に撮影スポットもありました。隣には休憩所もあり、遊具のある公園やベンチがある小高い丘？があります。そこでお弁当をいただきました。
