This is a restaurant remodeled from a warehouse built in 1919, with an attractive subdued modern-retro atmosphere. One can enjoy coffee and a menu with locally-produced rice grown with few pesticides and fresh vegetables. The daily special lunch, available weekdays, is particularly popular. In the grounds of the “Akita Kakunodate Nishinomiyake” samurai residence, one can enjoy walking around Japanese-style sweet cafes and artifact exhibition spaces. Access from Kakunodate Station.
