A day-trip bathing facility in Kawamae, Zao Onsen, Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture, with four types of baths available for men and women to enjoy including the 100% source water “Mogami Takayu” and “Shiroku (4/6) no Yu” a blend of source water for people with weaker disposition. Both open-air and indoor baths are spacious with an open construction. There is also an attached restaurant where one can enjoy local specialties including Yamagata beef shabu-shabu and soba noodles. 「湯の花茶屋新左衛門の湯」に併設されているレストランです。日帰り温泉のお風呂あがりにくつろぎながらおいしい食事をさせていただきました。ちなみに、私は食べなかったけど、蕎麦がおいしいということで有名らしいですよ。

日帰り温泉の食事処に行きながら閉店時間の関係で食事を楽しむ事が出来なかったので、翌日手術を早めに切り上げて再度訪問してみました。十割そばが人気との事でしたが職業柄蔵王牛の牛丼か山形牛の湯くぐりで悩みました。結局しゃぶしゃぶを敢えて湯くぐりと称する名前に惹かれて山形牛の湯くぐりを注文しました。適度にサシの入った肩ロースだけにあっさりと食べられました。お餅もついて山形の美味しいお米にお肉を載せて大満足...

新左衛門の湯に併設している食事処。そばが美味しくて、そばが好きではない人でもここのそばは食べるほどです。景色も良く温泉とセットで楽しむと良いですね
