- Not a lot to see
- There is not a lot to see here apart from some fish in aquariums and a few of the legendary Marimo algae balls. The main function when we visited appeared to be equipment hire of skis and snowshoes.

- Marimo
- We came by to this museum to see the history of Akankoso and have more information on the Marimo which is a unique algae found only in Lake Akanko. It is free entrance.
