Shiwagara Falls
A waterfall located along the Komatagawa Valley in the Ueyama Highlands in Umigami, Shin-onsen, Town, Mikata County, Hyogo Prefecture. The waterfall lies at the end of a steeply rising and falling one-kilometer long trail leading from the entrance to the valley. Falling into an erosion carved cavern, the interweaving of the green, moss covered rock and plunging water creates a magical scene.
