香美町村岡にある、道の駅。近くに村岡温泉や村岡民俗資料館があります。こちらには、但馬牛のお肉屋さんが入っていて、但馬牛のお肉をお土産に買って帰りました。

但馬牛の駅と言っていいほど但馬牛一色の道の駅でした。まず、道の駅の入り口でコロナ禍なのでマスクをした但馬牛の銅像のお出迎えがあります。メインの建物には、レストランとおみやげコーナーと特産物販売所がありましたが、レストランのメニューは但馬牛、特産物販売所にも但馬牛を使った商品があり、おみやげコーナーはまるで但馬牛の肉屋さんでした。ゆっくり食事をする時間はなかったので、少しだけ但馬牛を味わってみたく...

リニューアル後は本当にスッキリしました。但馬牛の牛まん(すごまん・美味！)は結構すぐに売れてしまうので最近は但馬牛コロッケを買っています。レジ横で売っていますよ。さほど広くは無いのですが車で入りやすく出やすい作りは立寄るのに便利。
