Ikutagawa Park

A park sprawling 1.6 kilometers north and south along the Ikuta River a three-minute walk from Shin-Kobe Station on JR, municipal subway, and Hokushin Kyuko Electric Railway lines. The park extends from Shin-Kobe Station to HAT Yume Park. An avenue of some 150 cherry trees called the Nunobiki Hana Kaido follows the river, and in spring when the cherry blossoms are in bloom the Ikuta River Cherry Blossom Festival is held and the trees are lit up at night for visitors to enjoy. Facilities include steps leading to a terraced, maintained section of the river; a playground with large play equipment; and a Chinese-style arbor. Visitors can catch sight of wild birds along the river such as spot-billed ducks.

朝早い電車の待合に新神戸駅周辺を散策です。駅前からは素晴らし日の出の光景を目にしました。春はあけぼのとはよく言ったものですね。ここの公園は桜が有名、満開時にまた来てみたいものです。

新神戸駅からHATゆめ公園まで約1.6kmにわたる生田川沿いの公園です新神戸駅周辺だけですが素敵な雰囲気を味わいました。新神戸駅の北側にある布引の滝や布引五本松ダムなどがあるエリアはとても素敵でしたが、新神戸駅を挟んで南側に続いて行くこの公園も実に素敵です。そのまま南に進めばやがて神戸港へと行けますが、時間があればゆっくり歩いてみたい公園でした。生田川は布引の滝や布引五本松ダムなどから繋...
生田川沿いの憩いの場ですが、園内は喫煙禁止にして欲しい。

生田川沿いに有り、また川の近くに寄れますので気分の良い公園です。結構日当たりも良く気持ちよく散策出来ます。ただ、地元の高齢者でしょうか、数名がベンチに座って喫煙しています。たばこ嫌いな私なので避けて通ります。憩いといった公園ですが、これだけは気持ちが悪いですね。
