Museum facilities include a planetarium which utilizes a Megastar IIB Itami projector to display a stunning 5 million starts on a 14-meter dome. There are also numerous hands on exhibits which present the wonders of space in the museum's standing exhibition such as rocket launchers and a bicycle powered solar system. In addition, the museum holds special exhibitions. From the rooftop observatory, visitors can watch planes landing and taking off at the nearby Osaka International Airport; after exploring the museum, check out the airport-adjoining Itami Sky Park.

スカイパークの近くにある施設です。プラネタリウムの上映もしており、休日には家族連れなどで比較的賑わっています。決して広いとは言えないスペースながらも、展示はワクワクさせるようなものになっていて楽しめます。

以前に、近くに住んでいましたので、懐かしくて、訪れましたが、リニューアルされていて、とってもよかったです。お子様達と親御さんやおじいちゃんおばあちゃん連れも、かなりおられました。
