A Buddhist temple founded in 751 located in Niihori, Hidaka City. Located on high ground in Komago, an area pioneered by settlers who traveled here from the ancient Korean kingdom of Goguryeo, the temple's principal object of worship is a state of Acala. The temple also enshrines a Buddhist statue of guardian buddha of King of Goryeo, Jako, Nandikesvara. The temple's grounds are outfitted with walking paths and scenic observatories for visitors to enjoy. In spring, a 170-year old higan cherry tree growing on the park's grounds comes into bloom along with various weeping and Yoshino cherries and other flowering trees and plants.

石段を2回上がってやっと本堂に辿り着きます。年寄りにはきつい。

武蔵野33観音霊場の26番納経所です。日高市の初観音霊場が聖天院にお参りです。高麗山聖天院山門(風神雷神門)は無料です。山門を入った所に26番の案内が。武蔵野33観音霊場の26番納経所です。2番目の長い石段を上がると聖天院が見えて来ました。高麗山聖天院勝楽寺の本堂と鐘楼です。聖天院本堂前から展望しました。聖天院の総開帳です。
長い石段を2回上がってやっと本堂があり、総開帳と展望で帳消しです！

武蔵野33観音霊場の26番納経所。聖天院に最初に来ました。高麗山聖天院山門(風神雷神門)です。長い石段を上がると聖天院阿弥陀堂がある。ここより有料ですが人はいません。書院、本堂、総開帳と長い石段を2回も上がった甲斐がありました。最後に日高の家並みを展望してスッキリしました。
境内に上がるには有料です

高麗聖天院は、高麗王のお墓が有る有名な場所です。近くには、彼岸花で有名な巾着田もあって観光や散策には良い場所です。駐車場は無料ですが、本殿に続く階段の入り口から有料で¥３００の入館料を払う必要が有ります。
