Kodai Hasu no Sato
A park located in Kobari, Gyoda City. The park is a habitat for ancient lotuses, a variety of lotus designated a Natural Monument by Gyoda City. The grounds are equal in size to roughly three Tokyo Domes and encompass a pond where ancient lotuses grow; a botanical garden with lotuses from around the world, other aquatic plants, and tree peonies; a square with a playground; fishing pond; flower viewing square; shop; and udon noodle restaurant. The park also holds firefly watching events along the river which flows inside its borders in June.
