Kiyomizu-dera Temple

"Kiyomizu-dera Temple is located near Otowa no Mori Park in Kamone, Misaki-cho, in the city of Isumi. It has long history, having been built in 807 by Sakanoue no Tamuramaro. Its principal votive figure is the Thousand-Armed Kannon, and this temple is the 32nd of the 33 places sacred to the bodhisattva Kannon in Bando (the old name for the Kanto Region). Within the precincts are sculptures of the 47 samurai of the Ako domain whose plot to avenge their lord was immortalized in the play ""Chushingura."""

「歴史を感じられる」素晴らしい寺

板東観音巡礼の26番目として、この32番札所を参拝しました。これまでで指折りに「歴史を感じられる」素晴らしい寺でした。いすみ市を訪れたのは久しぶりでした。残念だったのは、行程で度々見かけた、景観を壊すソーラーパネル。この寺がある周囲の山同様、自然環境を大切にしてもらいたいものです。

坂東観音霊場巡りで初めて行きました。市原から行きましたが、思ったよりも遠かったです。大多喜城と近いので一緒に観光するといいと思います。早朝のひっそりした寺院をお参りし、寺務所で御朱印をいただくことができました。
三大清水寺の音羽山清水寺

清水寺（きよみずてら）は、音羽山（おとわさん）の上にあります。麓の駐車場に車を止めて歩いて行くのも良し、山門の前にも駐車場が有りますので車で行くのも良いです。但し、麓の駐車場からですと長い坂道を登らなければなりません。コンクリートで舗装はされていますが結構急な坂道ですので、雨の降った翌日などは車で行かれた方が安全です。ここは、坂東三十三番札所の内の第三十二番札所になります。案内板には伝教大師最澄...
